| Corporations, LLCs, and registered Limited Partnerships doing business in Puerto Rico must continuously maintain a Registered Agent with a physical Puerto Rico street address (a PO Box alone does not qualify). The agent may be an individual resident of Puerto Rico or an entity authorized to do business in Puerto Rico, must be available at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and receives official state notices on the entity's behalf.
